本课程将从凝聚态物理的角度来对材料的物性进行认识,将学习材料的机械,热,电,磁,光等具体的物理性,学会对这些性质进行定性或定量分析,并从原子或分子的结合,晶体结构,电磁结构,微观组织,界面等方面来理解这些性能。通过这些学习,以达到能从观察到的性能中分析出其内在的支配因素,并能在一定的范围内能对材料的物性进行预测。
本课程将向同学们介绍了材料的电子理论,晶体结构、缺陷、微观组织、界面构造、低维材料(结构,尺寸效应,量子效应)、机械性能(硬度,强度,塑性变形,断裂)、热学特性(热膨胀,比热,热传导)、导电性能(载流子,电阻,超电导)、磁性能(磁体,磁化,磁区,各向异性)。
Introduction in English:
This course investigates material properties from the perspective of condensed matter physics. We will cover the mechanical, thermal, electrical, magnetic and optical properties of materials, learn to apply qualitative and quantitative analysis and understand these properties based on the interaction between atoms and molecules, crystalline structure, electronic and magnetic structures and morphology. Through the course of study, we will know the most dominant factors affecting material properties and know how to estimate material properties in a certain range.
This course will teach electron theory, crystalline structure, defects, microstructure, interface structure, low dimension materials (structure, size effect and quantum effect), mechanics (hardness, strength, plastic deformation, fracture), thermal properties (thermal expansion, specific heat and thermal conduction), electrical conduction (electrical carrier, resistance, superconducting) and magnetism (magnet, magnetization, magnetic domain and magnetic anisotropic).
